The balcony faces the road, which is a bit noisy. It is not a good choice for those who have poor sleep quality! But the scenery is beautiful, right by the river! There are not many choices for food in the town. It is mainly for a rest on the way to the fjord, otherwise it will be very tiring to go back and forth from Queenstown on the same day!

We set off from Queenstown to Milford Sound and stopped for a night in Te Anau. The hotel was beyond my expectations. It was a beautiful hotel by the lake. If I hadn't booked a fjord boat ticket the next day, I would have stayed a few more nights. I slowly felt the visual impact of the environment. It was also very close to the glowworm caves.
